1. If I buy Photo Album can I burn a CD with
photos and send it to a friend and can he or her see the album if they do not have Photo
Album?
Yes, the CD will have its own exe and will auto start.
2. I created an Album with 56 pictures. I went to Create a CD.
When I test the CD, I get "List index out of bounds (0)" on the first picture
and can't go forward.
The files are listed together with the descriptions. Just select "edit album" to
make sure that the Photos match the descriptions.
If a set is not complete it will give an error.
3. When I print the Epson screen appears (I'm using an Epson
Stylus 660) and when I say OK it just shuts down the print box and does not print. Can you
tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Please go to the Epson site, on to the download library and get the driver for the 660.
After installation the Picture Manager will work immediately.
4. Id like to know whether theres any ability to
input multiple information about photos, such as when the picture was taken, who is in the
picture and the site where the photo was taken.
If you scan your photos and name them correctly, you will most likely be able to search
and find any of them. For example, a photo of your parents at your brother's wedding can
be saved as:
"wedding Paul parents 2000-04-15.jpg"
This way you can search for any of the words "wedding". "Paul",
"parents" or "2000-04-15" or several words at the same time seperated
by a semi-colon.
Photo Album also has is a shoebox feature to find photos on your hard drive.

5. I figured out how to increase the size of images but when I try
to print them, the image comes out on paper a very small size (when I'm trying to increase
the size). What am I
doing wrong?
Resizing a photo to be larger is very much like writing on a balloon and blowing it
bigger. The quality will spread over the new area. Please be aware of that.
Your printer can have much more pixels per inch than your screen and will therefore print
very small. You have to adjust it via your printing manager. A work-around the problem is
to insert the picture into a word document and drag the photo to the the size you want.
Then print the document.
You can also download Photo Album, which has a nice printing facility like pixel (actual)
-pixel (printer), copy screen size or stretch to fill rectangle.
6. The Photo Resizer does not SAVE in the reduced size?
If you reduce a photo, you would not like your original to be destroyed because of an
autosave. The reduced photo is held in the memory of your PC until you select "save
as.." or until you select "email".
In the case of "save as.." you can save it with another name and therefore keep
the original. You can also save it as another format.
If you select email, the reduced file is saved temporarily in a folder and is then
attached to the mail. After the mail is send, the temp file is deleted. |
