My Father in law, Bryan Muller, is involved in this sport. The meeting of modal engineers from all over South Africa showed off the best of the best. It takes several years to scale and build these trains. It seems that very few young people are doing it now, maybe because this is a technology they had no part of and in the case of South Africa, it is not popular to be an artisan anymore.
